Phil, interesting and one of a kind. Is there any striping on the rear?
Good job...

Wow us with your XK8/R photos-image.jpg
Here's the rear.
It's hard to photograph and it looks black but the paint is actually a dark metallic brown.

very, very nice! I've got a trip black XK8 and like it very much but if I were to move into a different one, your colors would be my 1st choice, if available.

congratulations!!!

btw, is that a residence in the background?! if so, that's quite the digs!!!

Default '99 XK8 on the Dragon

This picture of my wife & me last weekend on the Tail of the Dragon may be my favorite Jag pic of all time. We were headed home to SC after the Blount British car show in Townsend, TN. Awesome gathering of fine English motors & even finer owners. Picture by US 129 Photos.

'99 XK8 on the Tail of the Dragon (U.S. 129) in the Smoky Mtns. of E. Tennessee.

Default PS art

Here's how my neighbor, Patty Spinks, a talented photographer and PhotoShop whiz transformed my beautiful red XKR into a somewhat skeletal and unworldly yet compelling object...

I had the opertunity to visit with Phil a week ago and take a good look at his XK8.

I know there are those who dislike mod's on a XK8 and to each there own but as far as mod's go Phil has done an outstanding job with this car. Very well done and executed. The photo's absolutely do not show the quality and care taken to "design" a modified car. Everything works well together. My hat is off to Phil for his willingness to go beyond the norm.....

Thanks for the nice comments!! And by the way, it was great to meet you and your wife!! Nice to now put a face to an XK!
Oh, FYI, I took off the door stripes and having smaller put on. That drove me crazy!! And honestly, after the concourse show in Little Switzerland, I may loose all the stripes except the center one. Tired of telling people it's a Union Jack!! Lol. Wow us with your XK8/R photos-image.jpg

I have a little bit modified your photo; Removed the bench and slightly changed the blue tone in blue/purple (clouds and sky) + added more contrast and re-framed.
Let me know if I should remove it, it is your photo
