bobskey,

You've posted this same question in at least three different forums here:

I've moved this latest one from General Tech Help to XK8/XKR forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

In previous posts you wrote you'd obtained a BPM (Body Processor Module) from Eurojag and the car was with your 'diagnostics man'. You also didn't understand the different part numbers.

To answer your question about the part numbers. LJG2500CA was fitted up to VIN A38671 and LJG2500CB was fitted from VIN A38672 onwards. The same programmable modules were fitted to both Coupe and Convertible.

I've used Eurojag since they first opened and have always found them to be knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. If you quoted the correct VIN, I'd be amazed if they supplied an incompatible BPM.

Presumably your 'diagnostics man' doesn't have the equipment or ability to interrogate and program modules?

Graham

+1 ctek. Leaving the battery disconnected sometimes results if modules losing memory as does leaving battery connected and allowing it to discharge. A good way to lose the battery, also.
