climate control - 5/12/2006 7:14:19 PM

My 1995 xj12 has a new quirk. The heat does not work. There is hot water to one side of the solonoid that permits water to the core, but it will not go past the solonoid. This happened just after the care was rear ended by a careless driver. I have since had the care fixed accept for this problem that I am hoping to solve myself with as little expense as possible. Can anyone help. Could it be a fuse or something. I am getting an error message for a couple seconds on the moniter screen atop the heater unit on the dash. Thanks in advance.
