Picked up a 99 Jaguar XJR yesterday. BRG over Cream, with 18" Fittipaldis. Not a scratch or blemish, and it is a 1 owner 37000 mile car.
So far I LOVE IT!
Anything I should be on the lookout for as far as issues, and warning signs with these cars? I haven't owned a Jag in about 8 years, so am a bit out of date. My last one was an 86 XJ6. My one worry is powertrain, I know the Tranny can set one back 13 grand....I'd rather pluck my face off and stomp on it than deal with that one, lol.

Have you got any responses on this yet?
I just bought a 98 XJ8 for my wife and we love it. I'm like you & want to know what some issues may be to watch out for. So far I've noticed the a/c doesn't put out much air and the 4.0L V8 seems to run hot.
