Thanks for your answers, I gotta honestly tell you that I am not mechanical oriented at all, sorry. So, the malfunction could be affecting a series of things, right? Do  you think that changing the switch will solve things out?, and again, is changing it a DIY job or something more serious?, where is the switch located? Thanks again!

Located on brake pedal. There is two of them. You can do it.

if it's not the sensor.. i had one where it needed a harness.. hopefully it's the switch

mmm... is there a way to check if it's only a blown switch?

Two of them? are they equal or each manages different things and have different part numbers?

Both different. One activates a few ms before other. If intermittent problem, hard to check. Just replace both.
Easiest way is to have car running and press brake pedal, do not disconnect electrical connector. Turn 1/4 turn ccw and pull them out. Shut car off, disconnect electrical connectors. Plug new ones in then start car. Reinstall and enjoy. Get code cleared.

how on earth do people get trained to drive an automatic with two feet??

I certainly do like that the jag wont allow it. .that is excellent use of computer programming to correct the behavior of dumb asses..
