xke v-12 running too rich on one carb - 6/16/2006 3:47:32 PM

I have been servicing a 1974 xke v-12 and cannot bring it into compliance with our emissions standards. The tailpipe emissions are 9% co. I have rebuilt the carbs and chokes, paying particular attention to detail.. The floats are good, and properly set. The plugs on the left bank are almost snow white, but the right bank is very dark. In fact, the front 3 pugs on the right bank are black. I believe the right front carb is the culprit, but cannot find a solution. Any luck out there? Thank you.

Hi,  I have the same problem with a 1969 XKE.  One carb seems to flood and the plugs are black...  Did you resolve the problem?  Thanks
