Hello, my name is Kevin and I just joined the forum today. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm from Connecticut and I just purchased a black '03 S-Type V6. I was a member of the Acura Legend forum when I owned a Legend and I really enjoy the forums as they provide good info. and we can all exchange ideas and help each other out! So I'm looking forward to it!

Welcome guys. I appreciate the fact that we're now getting some action in the S forum, as the X-type forum usually takes all of the attention around here. We have plenty of knowledgable people here to help out, and we hope to be of help, and entertainment if you please.

As much as I love to read that, seriously that's a 1970's/80's Jaguar attitude, they have long ago left that reputation behind (technically) yet it continues to dog them...Why?

Personally my 03 str has been in for repairs once and sometimes twice a month every month for several days at a time since I bought it in Sept. 06. However, my other 2 XJ6's were no trouble at all.

I work on Jags so I only get to see the problems.

One thing i do notice, whatever common problem might occur, they take care of it right away with a fix.
