xjr supercharger upgrades? - 5/30/2007 11:37:24 AM

alright, my car's got close to 60k on it right now. I heard somewhere that the 4.0 v-8 superchargers need to be rebuilt or something like that over the 50k mark. So I think I'm just gonna get a new supercharger all together. From what I understand, the current spercharger on it is the eaton m-112. I was looking around at a few twin screw designs, and noticed they don't have the opening on the top for the fuel inlet system, only on the bak, so I would end up having to mod the whole system to get it to work( oi). So, is there an upgrade supercharger out there for these cars?

You are probably thinking about the early v8's that really need the timing chains addressed prior to 70k.  The original tensioners were a plastic setup that gave up the ghost right at that mileage mark.
