I have a '97 XJ6 and live in Smithfield which is not far from the Raleigh area. Anyone else in the area?? Does anyone know of any good Jag mechanics around here?

I'm in Charlotte, NC! There's one particular Jaguar Specialist here. It's called Uptown Jaguar and that's their specialty. They do really good work, but I've never taken my car there because I can fix all my quirks myself .

'05 S-Type R in lovely Goldsboro, NC. Could be the only R in town. Have not seen any running around. Glad to see there are some other Jag fans in my neck of the woods. Have taken mine to Leith Jaguar in Cary. Had an incredible experience dealing with them. JAG

850jag and gp1959 there''s another thread of some VA people you might want to check out. 850jag there''s another member from Norfolk as well, and I''m from Hampton so we''re all close. GP1959 Smithfield, VA isn''t far from the Hampton/Norfolk area. It''s a little too early and too small of a section (4 people in the area) now, but it may be a possibility in the future to have a small meet. Or maybe meet halfway with some of the NC members. Just an idea- we did the same thing when I was in FL a few weeks back and it turned out nice. We had a tech who came and did some minor work for free as well- he reprogrammed my key, did my global window open and close, and reflashed the ECU. Just a possible idea.

I would be interested in meeting up with a few other Jag owners. If someone wants to set a date and time, I will be there. I am free most weekends, but don''t let that stop anyone from picking another date. Every Thursday night at Bruster''s Ice cream on VA Beach BLVD, there is a mini car show that goes on. That might be interesting to crash and see what all is going on too. Just a thought.
