In my previous post I was showing how things were broken inside the lights. I have now repaired them both and I got better than new fully adjustable lights, I can see again further than 2 meters in front! The first pic show the parts I made: a small alumium block, a threaded bar with a ball bearing ball welded at the end to go in the ball joint in the light assembly. It is quite simple and a lot cheaper than a complete headlight assembly. The second shows the installation and the third the finished item. I will put some silicon around to make sure there is no leak. As I had to use the lights while one was removed, it seems that I got an error code preventing the stepper motor to actuate, I will check this with the dealer, but I am pretty happy with the result. Is there a free software available to read the error codes? H.
