Has anybody tried an led swap on your interior lights. I did this on my cougar and change the green to blue. I don't like the color of the Jag interior lights, on my window switches, gear selection, ext..., I bought some white leds to switch them to, I will post pics, later.

I also have a question for the techs..... if i change the instrument cluster will the mileage change? Not because I want to "roll back" the mileage, just because I plan on changing the instrument cluster lighting to white as well, that way I can take my time to change the instrument cluster lighting and not have to rush it.

Lighting would look like this

Warning:-
Changing the instrument cluster WILL change the mileage and you WILL have to take it to a dealer to get the instrument cluster coded to your key.Someone on another forum had this problem last week (changing to a message centre type although changing to any other cluster will mean it needs coding). My cluster was changed at 38k under warranty.
Re The lights
In my MR2 Turbo I just replaced the interior light bulb with a blue bulb.
Great , especially if you like blue.Cost around £1

It shouldnt take too long to change the instrument pack bulbs depending on the vehicle. All the packs come out very quickly with the exception of the earlier (2000-2002) S-Types. If  you are going to take the pack out of one of those, make sure you buy the left and right side vent assemblies just in case.

2004, I'm working on the window switches and parking brake and gear selector right now. The switches won't take long. Want I am hesitate about is the stereo and climate control.
