Hi all

After sorting all my other problems I have now been graced with the presence of the SRS airbag light. Is there any way this can be reset by me or is it an expensive jag only job.

press the ODO button on ur dash that ussally makes it go away if ti reappears replace the sensor from a jaguar dealer if the AIRBAG light comes back on i suggest u replace the whole unit.

I work in a garage and there is actually a TSB on this issue if the light only comes on intermittantly (as it does in my XJ6). The wiring harness going to the airbag module itself has the tendancy to come loose at times, and trip the light on and off every once in a while. My light has come on twice since I've had the car in the past month, but resets itself everytime I turn the car off for a couple minutes and restart it. Draw the code and see if this is the reason your light is coming on or if it's a different issue before you simply start throwing parts at it
