Car Quest found some ESSO brand fluid for $40 a bottle that they say is an alternative.  Any one ever used this stuff? I'll have a part # for the fluid tomorrow.

It must be a nice looking label for that price,  I'm assuming I have the ZF 5HP24 transmission that takes Essco AFT LT 71141 Fluid.

Here is some pictures of the line installed.  Unfortunately car quest made the line to long for some reason so I had to route it differently which made it look more ghetto then i wanted it to but on the bright side the fluid will be a little cooler now that it wont be running close to the exhaust.

Ghetto or not, it works and no one can see it from above. Good job.

If you have xjr, you have mercedes trans W5A580. If naturally aspirated you have ZF5HP26.
