Ok so I will try to explain what the noise is.

It sounds just like the electric door locks when you unlock them from the inside. (IE now imagine that coming from the rear of the car)

It happens when any weight is in the back seat and you drive across a dip in the road or a big bump.

It also does it with no weight in the rear when you turn any corner and the car has a slight lean.

It will sometimes make that noise from both sides or just one side of the rear.

Could it be worn out shocks making that kind of audible noise?

I am half tempted to put the seat down and lay in the trunk to figure it out!
