01 Vanden Plas-  My steering wheel will telescope inwards if I manually pull it towards me first, but if it's all the way forward, it won't telecope outwards.  I can here the motor humming but it's not doing anything.  Any ideas?

Chris

You need to replace the reach motor. Not a hard job.

Hoping it is a C1157 or something. I want to do a harness. I hope it is not the module.

why? module are easy to fix if you need one  ill show you or ship one made to you . just have to pay the shipping.  did you see the price of the wheel speed sensor for your car went up.. use to be 300  . now it's 525.00 crazy

splitting the case is the hardest part,
then resolder the 2 pin power terminals at the circuit board
usual culprit is the terminals separating from the circuit board
high resistance "heat" and age
newer jags just like the jags of the old days  lol
