FJT or anyone else....can you advise how to remove the center consol light cover. I was going to use a flathead screwdriver but want to make sure before I break something...lol.

Because I don't want to be this guy

or that guy.

Is that stuff not covered by warranty?? Or you are just one diy freak

Seriously, some of that stuff sounds like something the dealer should take care for you under warranty. Unless they are so far away that it just makes more sense to do it yourself...

Should be the same as any other. Kung fu grip it down. I advise against using a screwdriver.

So use the Claw and not the Crane Danielson? haha. J/K! Thanks FJT.

Wachuko: I'm replacing my interior lights with white L.E.D. (don't really like the yellow OEM look), L.E.D. City Light, Chrome side marker, L.E.D. xenonmatch foglight and 6000K HID headlight bulbs. I also replace the turn signals with Chrome bulbs but it's not bright enough for me so I'm going with rodgerdodger's recommendation of the Silvania Silverstar turn signal bulbs.

Here's a quick pic of the L.E.D. xenonmatch city light.

I like that color. The new XF has the Xenon look bulb in it as standard. The side light I mean. Or to say another way...the city light.

I have to stop calling it the city light...lol.

When I had my '04 MB E500....us Benz guys always call it the city light.

It's the Side Light Side Light Side Light now.....

6000K? that is blueish and less useful for seeing... My understanding is that 4500K is as high as you could go without loosing the deeper light penetration... anything higher and you start loosing effectiveness of the spectrum.... Looks great but does not help you see better...
