I guess they painted that one on the XF so bright orange/red as to get the owner to fix it ASAP

I drove it to the dealer to drop off the tire.  It's almost scary driving with the spare on.  The contact patch is so small it breaks loose under moderate acceleration.

Greggbat,

Is that a whole house vac just for the garage? (in your last picture) Great idea instead of a shop vac.

Tommie

It is a whole house vac and it has a port on the side of the unit so you can hook up a hose to clean the cars if you put the unit in the garage.  It is a cheaper hose that doesn't have the wiring in for powered heads so you have to turn it on at the vacuum.  It was in the house when we bought it, but it's a great idea.  Very handy and performs very well. The previous owners set the garage up nice.  In floor hydronic heat, drains, hot & cold water.

Hi new to the forum picked up my xf premium last week love it you spoke of seating the pads.
After I drive in city stop and go when I come to a stop slowly either straight or turning slowly to the left I get a loud squealing sound until I put more pressure on the brake pedal. Should
the pads be seated  in and if so how do I do it?  thanks

Was being sarcastic. We do put 20 miles or so on them, enough to seat the pads. Was referring to the raping the car gets on test drive.

My last 2 sportbikes I bought new were broken in VERY VERY hard right from the crate. Like warm it up and then literally F1 it on the road. My friends owned teh same bikes from new. They believed in the baby effect. My bike consistently made 5bhp more than theirs did and had higher compression.

My 2.3 turbo had a new motor in it and I beat on that thing once I warmed it up. Very strong. It makes 403lbft...

Please rape my car during PDI. I certainly will do it once I take delivery.
