So far i really like the car. Nothing major i don't like. I wish there was a little more room in the console. We had so much crammed in the STR console that it all doesn't fit in the XF. Plus there is no sunglass holder up near the sunroof so they have to go in the console too. SMALL issue. I was also hoping for heated rear seats. Performance, quality, fit & finish, styling all seem excellent so far. I'm still not comfortable pushing the performance envelope so nothing to report there. Once i get the tire fixed hopefully there will be more to report.

I'd give it the baby treatment for at least the first 1000 miles..let it break in gently ..then change the oil, then go for it.

Lol Dennis...the break in is already done at dealership when car is getting its PDI. XF s/c is quicker than STR but doesnt feel so. Only way to tell is by looking at speedo while accelerating. Very quick car for weighing 4000 lbs.

On this one I'm gonna have to disagree..Unless the Dealership, does a drive around and at varying speeds for a 1000 miles or so , before the customer takes the car (your dealership may do this, but I've never heard of one doing that)..I don't see How a Pre-Delivery Inspection can be called a break-in...A break in Beds brakes, lets engine and drive-train wear in properly...Unless the factory runs these cars around and then zeros out the ODO before dealership delivery..I never heard of a dealer driving a 1000 miles before putting it on the showroom floor.
