Is there any way (short of wearing your seatbelt) to disable the seat belt chime on an 07 XKR?  Thanks

Good question. I also would love to know..

Hey guys, there are ways to disable it, but the technicians who frequent these boards don't like to reveal that information because they are good guys, have high moral standards (at least in this case [:D] ) and it is a pseudo-safety-related issue; they feel responsible to keep you guys alive (well at least not help you from ignoring your belts) so that you can come back in 4 years and buy another jag. It is by no means a disrespectful gesture on their part, but a respect for you.  This topic has been discussed in the recent past, with the same outcome I'm afraid.

I think what he said was FJT will fly to your house and disable it for free....No Questions Asked. [sm=smiley36.gif]

If only they would stay looking that good, I would buy a black one....

No need to fly. I am in Orlando frequently LOL. Nothing is free beyond the advice I offer here.

sounds like a job for IDS lol

LOL. We have enough in our shop I could sneak one out for a few days.

LOL.  I was just kidding FJT. [sm=smiley20.gif]

Florida Phil: I know what you mean.  Inevitable Swirls marks will appear soon on black even with the best microfiber towels.  The dealer's prep did a terrible job and I had to stop them as they were using these nasty cotton towels to prep my car.  Created swirl marks already with them.  I just wish Jag had something similar to MB's Nanopaint which helps prevent scratches and swirlmarks.
