Just throwing in my 2 cents again, You have to remember that these cars have adaptive software in them. So if you drive 5 miles, get on the highway and do 80 for 30 miles than get off highway and go city driving again for 3 or 4 miles, you trip computer will take the calculations from the ECM and show you an average of let's say 25 mpg. Now if you are on a 1500 mile road trip you average will be higher because it is all highway. If you never get on the highway, just city, stop and go, you might see an average of 10 mpg. It is not because you are getting 10 mpg, it is an average. Going from light to light burns far more fuel than cruising. constant city driving you should see 250-330 miles per tank. highway you should get 350-420 if you are under 80mph. Also, S-TypeR has two fuel pumps, so when you accelerate from a stop both pumps start dumping fuel which is why you end up with crap city mpg.
