Ummm buckle up? j/k

Sit in the vehicles drivers seat with passenger seat empty. Doors closed. Turn ignition to on (press start/stop button without foot on brake). While seatbelt light is illuminated, buckle the belt, once the light goes out, unbuckle, wait for light to come on, buckle up again. repeat this 8 or 9 times and you will get a confirmation tone.
This method is untested as such on the XF so let me know if that works.
To enable would be repeating the above procedure. It will not disable the light.

Don't get youself all upset Dennis. In this day and age if you have to explain to someone other than a 5 year old as to why you should wear seatbelts it is not going to get through to them.

The tellng was for the chime, not the light. If it makes you feel better, just picture a deaf person driving a car. They can see the light but the chime is irrelevant. I will not tell anyone how to disable that part.
