Hi all- need some help- I bought an 85 v12 that was sitting around for a couple years. I have some things disconnected under the hood- I think it will run- please let me know what these two vacuum ports need to connect to...any other suggestions I would certainly welcome them....thanks much.

Not enough to keep the engine from running. The Broken "T" hose goes to the blue vacuum switch (with the steel "P" clip around it). The "P" clip is bolted to the intake manifold, with a ground wire underneath it. That is the main ground for the fuel injection system, and will prevent the system from operating if it is disconnected. The other vac. hoses that plug onto the manifold outlet stems are for the trans modulator (big stem, hose has elbow) and for the climate control vac. supply. It doesn't matter which stem you plug the smaller hoses onto.

Hi again- I was going to drain the gas since its been sitting for a while- unfortunately I know absolutely nothing about jags (I work on Fords mostly), and was wondering if someone could tell me if the 85 jag v12 xjs HE has a drain plug in the tank and how to get to it. All I see is a valance at the moment...just wanted to make sure there is a plug before I start removing a bunch of stuff - thanks much.

Update- I didnt realize (till I started poking around some more) that the gas tank is "in the trunk"....so I pulled the float from the middle and I'm siphoning the gas out- should I remove the tank to clean it out?...or will it suffice to drain it and fill it? Thanks
