I'm about to purchase this vehicle, has quite a few miles on it (78k). The service inspection people tell me it makes suqeking noise from the steering wheel when turning.

Any speculation what the reason might be and a repair estimate?

Help is much appreciated. Thanks,

Edit: noise was comming from the steering wheel, not the front wheel.

there is a jag bulletin fix for this.. its a liquid you pour in your power steering.. that eliminates the noise.. any dealer sells them for 15 ..put it in and after a day or two noise is gone
