Thermo -> RE: Cherished rides you no longer have (5/19/2008 8:28:56 AM)

I miss the 23 T-bucket that my dad and I built from the ground up (he brought it home in bushel baskets, literally). That was the quickest car that I had ever been in. That 350 small block with a performance cam and Holley tri-power was definitely fun. It was nothing for the car to pick up one of the front tires and carry it. Get on good asphault and you could pick up both front tires. Nothing like looking out the front windshield, seeing the tires off of the ground. OH well, maybe I will pick one up and build another one like it. But, I never did get to drive it. Dad sold it before I turned 16 and could ask. Chris "Thermo" Coleman and Nukie, the radioactive 97 X
