I see that Jaguar sells a Leaper for the XF and was thinking about getting one..

My question is; would the dealer install it?  would they send it out?  or should i have a body shop do it?

I think the leaper does not belong on this car.  My colleague at work, who has the parking spot next to mine, so I was able to cmpare the leaper and the sans-leaper! I think it takes away for the flow and lines of this car.....sve your money...

maybe you're right..  now that i think about it, the leaper is a bit 'old school'.. and there is nothing old-school about the XF !

I agree...Although the leaper looks good on the older other models..this XF is a new breed...I like the looks of the grille badge only.

We install them at the dealer. In my humble opinion they look lime ass. The car was designed a specific way and the leaper looks out of place on the car. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like it do it. Before you make the leap however, look at one in person, not pictures.....then decide.

I'd prob do it just because I like the leaper view down the hood now and would like tieing the old into the new. I def agree with the idea of seeing one in person first though! maybe after I saw it Id totally change my mind. Then again Im not big on change even for a young guy. I would def want front fogs though! FJT can we see some leaper on XF pics? I know you posted some of the tread plates already, those look great!
