I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can get an "A PLAN" for a new XKR Conv. I might be wrong, it might be called something else but it all works the same.

THANKS

If you want Ford pricing, you need a Stars ID or be immediate relative of someone who has one.

I was able to get the "X Plan" (not sure if that's what you were talking about) through my friend who works for a company that is a partner with Ford.  Although it's only intended for employee and family, he was able to register me into the database and print out a certificate with my pin so I can bring to the dealer.  The ironic thing was I was able to negotiate under the X Plan pricing so I never had to used the certificate. Also with Tata buying Jaguar, not sure if Tata will honor the X Plan anymore.  BTW....which generation Vette do you have?  I see you have the Z51 suspension.

What did the dealer tell you the "X plan" deduction was?

And I have a 2007 C6. ...& BTW on my Vette I was able to get a GMS which saved me $7500.00 roughly

My friend had a sheet of what the price of the XKR would be off MSRP for the X-Plan.  It was approximately $3K off MSRP. I believe he got it from his company's website. Not all dealer have to honor it and therefore you will need to shop around to see which one's will take it.  For example, one dealer told me they will honor the X-Plan for the remaining '07s left on their lot.  Another dealer said they will honor all '08s.  The X-Plans are for Ford partners and I believe the A Plan is for Ford employees (more discount).  Again...at the end I was able to negotiate below X-Plan so never used the Pin.

Nice Vette.  I had a C5 with Stage II Heads and Cam,3.42 gears, 3200 Torque Converter, LS1 Edit, Vortex Air Induction, Corsa Daytona, Specterwerks rear fascia and full bolt ons.  Bought an ATI P1SC Supercharger but decided to sell the car before installing it. Had a blast when I had it.  There are a few here on the board who had Vettes also who migrated from the CF.

You hit the nail right on the head with that. Yeah The A PLAN is the best one, thanks for your help, I will just need to keep looking. Saving 2-4k is nothing but saving 7-10k now your talking!

I live in CALI and no dealer honored the GMS for the vette, I had to get it from Michigan, which was no big deal. So I am aware of dealer discretion.

Now that Tata writes the menu, I'd guess you're better off talking to individual dealerships to find a manager whose favor you can curry.
