ive been trying to find some more info about this car and have had very little luck. does anyone have a link or a site that gives the specs (performance and/or stuff like whether or not it has limited slip, general maintenance info like how much oil this thing takes) thank you Jeff

still trying to get it to start. motor is turning but not as fast as it should. is there a good and easy way to check for spark? Jeff

I don't think slow cranking would have anything to do with spark. Have you checked the starter? To check sparg, pull a spark plug and check like any other car. Don't zap yourself. That never feels good.

im going to check for spark a little later but it is a posability that the fuel pump isnt working. the owner didnt mention it, but in the trunk there is a new lucas fuel pump still in the box.

If the starter is turning slowly, it might be due to a bad ground between the engine and the frame. Try running an auxillary ground.

i tried running arother ground wire and its doing the same thing. i think the problem is the main battery in the car is long gone, and will not charge, so im trying to jump start the car and i dont think the porsches alternator is strong enough to do it. i need to go buy a real battery and be done with it
