This is a test to see if I can post. I have not been able to for 3 days. Been getting a "Connection was reset" message every time. Emailed the admin but no response. Frustrating as hell especially cause I have a couple tech questions and there is no more technically knowledgable forum that I can find.

Nothing you couldn''t fix with a soldering iron and a paper clip, in like six minutes.

Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to participating in the forums. It took me 2 years to talk my wife into avoiding the new leased American cars and buy a low mileage lease returned Jag (she always wanted a Jag). Budget looked like an S-type til a friend mentioned an associate that "head hunts" at Mannaheim for a nominal fee. Wound up with a 04 XJ8 - 22000 miles, 1 owner, never left Miami, driven to the clubhouse and gas station. Looks like the orig owner never opened the doors and got in. Not even ass marks on the seats. Anyway, she loves it. I''m impressed with the car. Been driving Corvettes for 20 years, Porsche now. The XJ8 is a very relaxing car, drives beautifully. I think Clarkson was right about the cat car. I could drive this thing all the way to Scotland without the traffic jams even bothering me.
