Hi guys,

I''m fairly new to the forums here, so I thought i''d put up some pics of our family of Jags.

My dad and I currently keep a few in our stable, so here they are.

Firstly, the Daimler Sovereign 4.2 - This was the first one we bought, about 10 years ago. It was being used as a wedding car, and the owner of the business was changing to Chevs instead of Jags, so we snagged this one at a pretty good price for back then. We weren''t too mechanically minded back then, so we did the basic upkeep things on it, we overhauled the interior, and did a few minor things to the engine (Mainly, detailed the engine bay, repainted some of the parts that had faded, and go the chrome polished etc.) We love it to bits, but due to acquiring a V12 Sovereign recently, we have decided to sell it. But for the moment, it still lives here.

Next is the 1969 E-Type dad bought about 4 years ago. This car was dad''s dream car, so for him to be able to pick one up, was a dream come true for him. It is only the 4.2, but it''s a beautiful car to drive. Unfortunately, on the way home one day, with a bit of speed built up, the sunroof lifted out of its tracks, and folded back, smashing into the back of the car, smashing the window, and generally causing alot of damage. So, complete back to bare metal respray was done, and while we were waiting for that to come back, we reupholstered the interior, and sent the chrome away to be re-done. It''s been back on the road for about a year now, and still looks concourse. We''re just looking for some new (possibly wider) wire wheels as the current ones are getting on a bit.

Then we have the newest member of the family, the Jaguar Sovereign V12. As some of you may have read in another thread, we''re having some engine dramas with it at the moment which is causing some headaches, but generally it is a stunning car, and we have a few plans for it in the future. I don''t have much info on it yet, but over time, we''ll see what happens.

And at the moment, My older sister drives an X-type. She was never much into Jags, until a few months back. She was in a car accident, and wrote off her car, so her boss gave her an S-Type to run around in until she found a new car. She loved it so much, but didn''t really need the V8, so she picked herself up a nice X-Type, and has been happy with it since. I don''t have any pics of the X-Type, but here is a pic of our lot plus the S-type when she had it.

Now that I have waffled on for probably too long, I hope you enjoy the pics. I have been looking around the forums here, and there are some great machines here. I look forward to reading about them all :)

Cheers.

On the ''69 E-type.
"it''s only a 4.2.."

There are many of us on here that would argue that is the best possible motor for the E-type.
