Where to buy Smart Key

I am dreading the day I need a new Smart Key (same for the XK and XF) - and of course will probably need it in short order when lost/broken. I think the salesman said it is around $900 including programming....... So in the interests of being proactive, can anyone suggest where we might go for a cheaper smart key. Internet searches so far have not turned anything up.

I would say for security reasons the only place you will find this is at a dealer

Only at the dealer and nowhere near $900.00 I think we charge about $250 for key and programming if you lose yours.
