Oh.... 120MPH ... I thought you meant 120KPH. Don''t think I''d dare get my XJ up that fast it would likely self destruct, or require some other ''minor'' repair.

Your XJ can handle it. They feel solid, too. I had a 94 XJ12 up to 115MPH and didn''''t even realize I was going that fast!

I''ve smoked my 98 xj8 115mph (shhh!) for 2 miles and it was a breeze, very smooth and stable, like a cat low to the ground. That was right after tensioner job and updated valve cover. Runs like a top now, I do enjoy the x308s but this x350 2004 xjr is kickin...you can really feel the supercharger difference.
btw.. hopefully I get my refund there Ken for those returns without an RA#, my fingers are crossed. I just ordered a coolant level sensor from you guys as well, mine is falling to pieces, so hopefully that boosts my chance of someone finding my package and getting a refund haha.

I find it myself tomorrow morning and get it down. She gets buried in the back trying to put names to the returns without RA#s. I''ll find it. I know who I''m looking for.

I''''ve noticed that the XK8 has a real sweet spot from 70mph to about 135mph. after 135, it just seems to die and won''''t accelerate as fast.
I am really impress how stable it is just under 150. the car just hunkers down and plants itself to the pavement.
I wonder if it is programed to back off at 135 mph, not that I would want to go that fast on public roads again. Once was enough for me!

Yeah, anything over 110 is really too dangerous for public roads. Too much difference between the speed of a flying Jag and the rest of the traffic for a dependable margin of safety. That was the first time I''ve broken my own rule since my old Porsche & Mercedes testing days.

Wow thanks, that''''''''s supreme customer service there folks! Sir Ken is the man! Again my apologies to the misses in the back fighting off RA-numberless returns, I was just so happy to get the new parts in the car I totally overlooked the RA#! Thanks for the understanding, I''''''''ve taken complete note.
**EDIT** Still waiting on a response there about this, been 2 days with now response. Did you find my return like you said or what''s up? I Left a message, sent a message, nobody answers. This will definitely determine my future purchases and referrals to the site.

Lets start with this, 240sx''s have a speed limiter at 118mph, but that can EASILY be cut and the car taken to 145mph...STOCK! That''s a promise...a guarantee from me...your dear mod. LOL! As for the Jag, I''ve taken the s-type to 130mph and I was shitting my pants while my passengers didn''t even notice. When I asked them if they realized how fast I was going, they were clueless, but the look on their faces as they felt the car rapidly decelerated and the speed was still 115 mph was priceless.

I will take your word for it, but I can tell you from experience that they don''t get there as fast as a bone-stock 1996 XJ6.
