window lowering with door handle but does not return wh... - 6/29/2008 6:00:51 PM    toddster   Posts: 6 Joined: 6/29/2008 Status: offline new to this forum but if seems to have great help...and boy do I need it, I have a problematic xk8...oh but who doesn''t.....lol I have a question about my 97 xk8 convertible, when I open the door the window lowers a tad but when I shut the door it does not return closed? is this a programming issue? can I fix it myself? thanks for the help Post #: 1

A lot of times my coupe will do that, I''ll re-index them, and the next time I open the door, the window won''t go back up.
