I think it may be that people are using the ( " quote symbol - shft + 2 ) instead of ( '' apostrophe symbol - @ key ) in words like (didn''t) for example (you''ll) get didn""t and you"""ll
just a thought?
Unless anyone out there is trying to express sumthin else that we may be missing?

No, whenever I use the apostrophe, it shows up doubled in the post. If I quote another post or edit my own, it doubles again. The quotes, however, work as intended. For example...
Apostrophe: It''s
Quotes: "Its"
I have seen the same thing before on another forum. I do not know what caused it, and the owner of the end site ended up figuring it out. Until the problem is sorted on this site, I will just spell out words fully, and avoid possessives.
