Hi guys ive been fighting with the right axle with little success.  I cant seem to pry the ball joint from the lower control arm, i can get it to seperate about 3/4 inch but then it binds up. I''ve tried seperating the hub from the strut which is impossible and i''ve even tried disconnecting the strut tower to drop the whole assembly with no luck...  i''m so frustrated.    Currently i''ve got the break rotor off for easier access and both bolts on the control arm loose to lessen tention,  tomorrow i will go pick up a fork to see if that gets me better leverage on the ball joint.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

undo the bolts to drop the subframe an inch .. there are 2 10mm bolts for a bracket on the rear mounting bolt and the front bolt is on its own.

It is hard to get the control arm low enough without lowering the subframe. No big deal, but only do one side at a time.. otherwise you will lose the alignment of the subframe.

Yes thank you!   Axle is out and from what i understand now i''m supposed to remove the catalytic converter and the mount but the two rear bolts on the mount are totally unnacessible! Had i known how tough these cars are to work on i probably woulnt have tackled it, very frustrated
