Hey, that would be cool. I don''''t think there would be many (if any) around, though. If there are some, they were probably made when the cars were relativley new, I don''''t think anyone would make them today since the XJ40 isn''''t really considered a ''''classic'''' yet. If you find anything, though, be sure to post it here!

EDIT: I looked around and found a custom XJ40 wagon (looks kinda like an old Plymouth Horizon) and a 4-Door convertible. Here are the links:

The 40 is the last one.

Jaguar World had an article in the June 2008 issue on the XJ40 Majestic, which if I recall was stretched and had a slightly higher roofline. A very rare indeed. See if you can get a back issue:

Come to think of it Jaguar already built an ugly Convertible XJ40.... I think it was called the XJS.

However... If you were to strech an 93-94 Vanden Plas about 36" and add a divider, bar, and other essentials, that would make one awsome looking stretch limo. Not aware of any that were done though. I had a 36" stretch 1982 Cadillac Seville. In the eighties and that was one of the nicest stretches I''ve ever seen. Not too long and very balanced looking I''d think any longer on the Jag and it would look out of scale and ruin the idea.

Hmmm, Look up Jaguar Stretch Limousines on the web and you can get a lot of info, even one four door convertible. Most of these seem to be Australian sites, but some really cool photos. As I suspected, the ol XJ looks great as a stretch...

you just went nuts with the posts there didnt cha? haha. XJ40 limo would be pretty damn cool I must say though. but why do you gotta poke fun at the XJS''s? lol. I prefer the 85-99 models. As much as I like the block headlites on our xj40s what they did to the XJS of those early 90''s and on just hacked them up beyond belief!!

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another XJ40 lover

You can stretch any car let alone XJ40s but you know even the turnin circle ratio is terrible for stock XJ40s , I can''t imagine how dramatically gets bad to worse that turnin ratio
