Not that I would ever have the need to do this... But i''m curious:

What is the proper method of launch control?

Dynamic mode or DSC OFF ?
foot on the brake then jump on the gas when the light turns green
OR
one foot on the brake, the other on the gas "power braking" at xxx? RPM, then release the brake

i just dont know how far to push it...

i just dont know how far to push it...

My understanding from a Magazine review I read said they acheived the claimed 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds by power braking, as you described in the second scenario. I can''t remember the RPM launch.

Traction control off 1,000 RPM and get off the brake

has anyone ever really "gotten into it" in an XF SC with traction control OFF ?
does it get sqirlly at all?

ive done about 3 full circles.. of burnouts.. with everything off.. hold dsc button for 10 seconds.. she gets very sqirlly
