Hi, everyone. I''m new here and don''t actually own a Jag yet. I''ve always loved the styling and feel of Jags, especialy of their sedans. However, their reputation for making largely unreliable cars has steered my family away. As a car enthusiast, I know that many "well-founded" reputations are really very empty and false. I know Saab has a repuation for building cars with subpar reliability records, but with proper maintenance, ours has been one of the most reliable cars we''ve ever owned. That said, I wanted to know everyone''s opinion on the 95-97 XJ6 and Vanden Plas. It seems that many Jag insiders agree that these were reliable cars. Are there any major trouble spots on them? Are they as reliable as some make them out to be? If not, what would you say is the most reliable recent (last 20 years) Jag? Thanks a lot for any answers.
