Hi Guys,
I purchase an XF Premium a few weeks ago ... so far it''s great.

My question is: Is the turn signal audible click programmable?
My turn signals work and I get the correct turn arrows on the dashboard but no audible click. I''m sure that I read that this function is programmable but after searching, I''ve not been able to find anything.

Congrats on the XF..

Whenever I have a question that I can''''t seem to find the answer to from the forums or owner''''s manual..I call the dealer''''s service and they usually are pretty helpful..try that

I don''t think it is audible but than also I would recommend you to just confirm with your dealer.

I just drove one and it definitely had an audible click on the turn signal.  I paid attention to it as I had read that there was no noise on the turn signal.

I pick up mine in three days...Prem Lux Red with Charcoal interior!

Finally ... took the car into the dealer yesterday. They confirmed that the car will need a new instrument pack/module. I''m having it installed on Friday. Seems a complicated solution ... what happened to the old days when it was a small relay under the dashboard? Technology is a wonderful thing ...

Hi Guys,
Well ... they''ve now tried two instrument packs - each one requiring a trip to the dealer. Apparently each of the packs have malfunctioned. So they''re now ordering a 3rd. This sounds like maybe they have a design flaw rather than a malfunction.

I did speak to the master technician and he confirmed the speaker burnout mechanism mention earlier in the thread. He also said that this was a common problem with all the XF''s.

In California - the lemon law may trigger after 4 attempts to fix the problem

The sad thing is that I love the car ... so we''ll see.

Tom
