Well here''s the only problem- I know what kind of car he drives, but it was a brand new car so there was only the temp tags (which were 2 weeks expired and he didn''t have the new ones).  BUT I do recall driving from the hotel he was staying in to pick up his mail at his new place.  BIG mistake on his part- because I''m driving back to ATL tomorrow and he''s out of town.  The way I see it- fair is fair- I think I''ll just buy a 4 pack of batteries and toss each one in a different window for my troubles.

bummer on the Gas jacking bud....
Jeeesh.............it''ll be happennin over here big time just shortly at £6.50 a gallon. Whats that, around $13??
Wer''r already seeing a big increase in drive offs - people filling up at petrol stations and doing a runner without paying!
I know if I had a shed load of money lying around I''d invest in a few thousand litres of fuel and sit on them for a few months......can''t think of anythin that''d make as much profit right now?

Hope you catch the bugger though!

Jim

Plan would work great Jim, except Im sure taxes would somehow influence it.  They keep jacking up tax on gas in chicagoland area, I think it''s something around 16%

Oh yeah- my story got better... Bank turned out to be bogus- he closed the account, and turned off BOTH of the phones I had for him.  And the address that I thought was his house- turns out to be a strangers place.  Good thing I didn''t slash the tires eh?  I''m filing a police report in the area- if he''s local, my cousin is a sheriff... We''ll nab him for check fraud.

Win some, lose some- hopefully we''ll be able to nab him since someone recognized him there.  Seeing as he cost me $275 and I spent closed to $2000 between my nav and my wheels, I think I''m more of a threat to myself.

Wow I spent $2690 just for my rims.  I am a threat to myself as well.

Haha well, these wheels are just the stock 18" STR wheels for now.  Those were $750 and I spent most of it on the DNX7120 and install parts from the UK.  Plus I''m thinking of going back and dropping more coin because the Metra dash kit didn''t sit flush.

Guess I''ll be getting locking caps for my cars. The Miata has a remote lever in the armest, but even if I lock it someone can still pry it open after cutting the soft top.
