If what I read is right, the series III XJ6 is what I want....the wife and I are retired, and have a winter home in AZ, and want to keep the XJ6 there.  That way, when we drive there in her car, I will have a car for me as well.
I am thinking pre Ford, so that would be 87 or older, right?   and the series III is after the electrical issues era?
Any advice from forum members on what years of the series III are the best, what to watch for when shopping for one, etc.?
thanks

I"d reccomend  a 95 to 97 XJ6 personally
Much Much better car all around
And the prices for these cars are really good now
Series 3 cars are verry classy to look at but..........
They can become quite of an expense to keep up.
Ive been working on these cars for approx 16 years now, And have owned
a few of the 95 to 97 cars and they are in my book as close to bulletproof as your gonna get.
Hope this helps you
Any questions send me a PM
