My 2004 XJ8 the best car I have ever owned! - 7/24/2008 9:17:08 PM    Griffbl   Posts: 1 Joined: 7/24/2008 Status: offline Great Looks, responsive, Fast, 27-28 MPG at 70MPH, 18 or so around town if I am careful.....Goes over bumps, when the much heavier BMW and Mercedes competition goes through them! I have 30k miles on the car, and have owned it since new....One blown speaker, fixed under warranty, that is it! I like it so much I am thinking of buying a 2009 before the body change, especially if its replacement is NOT of aluminum, even though the new bumpers look a lil porky.....Just thought I would share my good fortune! _____________________________ Griffbl 2006 Ford GT 2004 Jaguar XJ8 2008 Chevrolet Suburban Z71 Post #: 1

Bought my wife the same car (first Jag) and she raves about it much the same as you. I''m new to Jag myself (decades of Corvettes and now Porsches) and I''m quite impressed with the cat car.
