Ok guys, today I hit 65,000 miles plus my right front marker light went out a few weeks ago before the meet. I told myself I need to set up an appt. at the dealer for oil change and to take care of the light problem....well a couple of hours later i get my first warning on display saying right brake lamp failure. sure enough the brake light is out however the night time lams in the same unit all light up as they should.....As well one night last week one of my xenons (both brand new around new years) went out then when i turned lights off and on they worked fine....could this be connected? why is the brake part of the light not working but the running lamp in same position works? as always thanks!

ahh i take it no one knows, im hoping the front one is just corroded as thought by FJT and the rear might be harrness or just bulb. either way it all should be under warranty...if anyone has any ideas it would be nice, im taking it down tomorrow.

There are several filiments in one bulb so it is possible for the tail light to work but not the brake light. The brake light usually goes first due to all of the on and off when you brake.

thanks a lot badmojo, thats exactly what it was....all it needed was 2 bulbs ( one for brake n one for front marker ) at a total of $8 or $9 and the oil change, so i will prob get the R back on sunday

i will need new rear brake pads in like 8-10k miles prob tho + rotors turned
