i just bought a 97 XJR that is in need of new leather seats..  i dont think i want to pay the going rate for a full reuphulster job and was wondering if the 99-2003 XJR seats are compatible?  they look identical from pictures.  are they the same stlye as well as same seat motors/plugs, etc?  i also saw a full leather set off of a 2004 XJ8 on ebay, sweat seats, and was slightly curious as to how those might also be somehow retrofitted... but mainly i am wondering if the 99+ XJR seats are identical in fitment?

thanks.

hmmm... so only x300 seats can be plug n play swaps?  that is dissapointing...  has anyone seen non x300 seats in a x300?   i was thinking of maybe finding a set of the Recaro seats that they put in whatever special edition XKR of recent years, but i guess they would have to be a manual adjustments....
