I had to replace my fuel filter which was partially clogged and caused the engine to run in reduced performance mode due to insufficient fuel flow on my 99 XK8 convertible and caused the check engine light to come on. As soon as the fuel filter was replaced, the car runs great and actually runs a bit stronger than it has in recent past so that is definitely the problem. Can anyone tell me the sequence to reset the check engine light now that the problem is fixed and the car is running properly?
