Tylerhawk/Battery Tender

Tylerhawk/Battery Tender
I own a 2003 S-Type Jag and am a second owner. I bought it with 19,000 miles in 2013. I only drive the car a few times a month to charge battery. Looking to install a Schumacker Model SE-1-12S, 1.5amp Microprocesseur controle 6V/12V Auto Detection battery tender. Not suppose to install in closed area, therefore the trunk may not be an option even though the battery has a vent to outside. It looks like there is one that can sit outside the vehicle, I was hoping to attach one permanently to the vehicle with easy access under the hood. Are there charging/starting ports/post under the hood that would be a safe permanent installation as to not do any damage to vehicle/charging system? I am open to suggestions and a better easier accessible solution that I am unaware of. If this is not a viable idea can wires be run from under the hood back to battery? Not sure of my options or easiest safest way to do so. Does anyone have any knowledge on this matter? Thanks
