Smile X300 1995

Hi, just joined as I now have an X300 1995, having had XJ6's series 2 and 3 since 1982. Very familiar with the XJ6's great cars. Finding the X300 very good but having problems now getting fuel tank out to replace the fuel pump. Hard to get at the disconnects one of which seems damaged. Nev

Default Welcome to Jaguar Forums

Welcome Nev,

Firstly, BIG welcome to Jaguar Forums and NSW&ACT section in particular. Jump onto the New Members section to introduce yourself, and give us all an opportunity to welcome you properly.

Secondly, if you jump into our Roll Call thread here in the NSW&ACT section, you will note that I have added your name and details into our updated Membership List.

Thirdly, may I recommend you go to the top left of main menu screen, click on [User CP] navigate down to [Edit Signature] and add your Jaguar's year/model/engine/variant so that they appear automatically in all your future posts . . . and ensure that any advice you receive is accurate. In the same way, you can add a pic or graphic to your avatar.

Finally, and to address your tech query re fuel tank . . . jump over to the specific model (X300) forum and post your query there. That way the gurus on your model Jaguar will see, and respond to, your questions.

All that remains Nev, is for you to jump in and enjoy. Best wishes,
Ken
