Tempting indeed, the kitchen decisions are all hers anyway.
Even if you don't take it on the track it would be a good 250 km round trip.

The car just arrived yesterday afternoon. Initial thoughts are that the 280KW 6 supercharged is much more usable for a person of my skill level than the supercharged 8 in the XKR. The steering and gearbox are awesome (the 8 speed suits the higher powered engine much better than it does the 177KW 4 pot turbo in the XE in my opinion). The suspension is softer than the base f type (you can dial it up) but is still firmer than the XKR. Probably the same as the XKR in dynamic mode.

Audio and media are much better than the setup in the XKR but that is to be expected, I never liked the B & W system in any of the jags and the meridian is far superior for the music that I listen to.

Driving is just super fun. Not as fearsome as the XKR, more clinical but still with plenty of agro. Getting in and out is not as much fun.

My favourite colour too! Congratulations!

I just counted up my laps from yesterday and I did 59 laps in 5 sessions.

I think we got our money's worth even if it was wet all day.

Looks great! Wish I could have been there but all of my spare time is involved in the kitchen reno (I cant believe how much mess has been created). Definite starter for the next day at the track, though.

New boots on the way
I tore them up at the Jag National Rally and they proved useless for the Euro Day in the rain

Got 5 NITTO 255/40ZR19 INVO's shipped to me with Fit,Balance, 4 Wheel alignment prepaid at Beaurepairs for $1480

Considering the Nitto's are retailing around $600 each + fitting, great deal

BTW It was Mag Wheels | Tyre Packages | Ozzy Tyres where I ghot them

Cheers
