My 2004 XK8 Convertible is due for a complete paint job. Would like to keep the original color which was Jaguar Ebony Black. Any recommendations for a paint shop in Cowtown or vicinity?

 

It all depends on your budget and how good a job you want. My wife and I own Montgomery Autobody and we just finished a complete on her 1997 XK8 convertible in Antigua Blue (missed the Calgary Vintage Sports Car Show and Shine by one day) and I think it looks pretty good. How ever we do not do complete paint jobs as a rule as most of our work is insurance company related. The range of pricing on a job like yours is huge and it is possible to spend in excess of $40,000 if you want a show finish at some shops in the area. But there are some quality shops in town that do good work at much lower prices and if you give me a call at our shop 403-288-1822 I can at least give a list of some possible people to talk to. Thanks Ian. It appears my range of quotes is the $299 from Macco and yours of $40,000. I think I may go with the $45 touch up kit from Jaguar. I joined the VCCC and hope to see you at one of the meetings! Larry

 

If you had an unlimited budget and wanted perfection, you could bring it to Vancouver.
