Greetings All!
New to the site, but not new to the brand, I had a 2003 S-Type R for 9 years which I loved. I recently traded it in on a 2012 XFR which has been great up until yesterday.
While driving, despite the fuel gauge reading 1/8th of a tank, I ended up running out of gas. With that, it was impossible to restart once fuel was added and ended up flat decking the vehicle to Victoria for service. Dealership says treat 1/4 tank as empty moving forward. Wow, not impressed.
Has anyone else experienced erroneous fuel readings with this year/model which lead to running out of fuel? And, if so, how did you get it started?
