Sorry, catching up. As stated Kamikaze product for the DIY'er, IMO provides the best shine, protection and durability. When I had my detail shop I tested at least 10 of the better products, and Kamikaze products were leaps and bounds better.

 

To me the original liquid Glass is/was/and will always be the best product to protect, shine, and leave a shiny smooth hard surface. unfortunately they are out of business. you can still find a few bottles floating around but you'll pay. what I normally paid of $26 can, can now be found on ebay upwards of $140,

theres another company that produces what claims to be similar started by one of the 2 partners after they broke up, but I havnt tried it yet.

neither are ceramic coatings but ive used the LG for last 30+ years and I've been able to show my friends doubts by literally putting out cigarettes on the hood of my car and just wiping away the ash.

I just had my local body shop wash, clay, buff the car for a $200 and bought the Avalon King myself and applied it afterwards....
